Check Your Freezer, Tons of Frozen Breakfast Wraps Recalled
More than 246,000 pounds of El Monterey frozen breakfast wraps are being recalled after complaints of 'small rocks' being found in the burritos.
One potential injury is being associated to the recalled packs of El Monterey wraps containing eggs, potatoes, bacon and cheese sauce-- distributed across Minnesota and the rest of the country.
The affected 8-pack family size packages containing 'EL MONTEREY EGG, POTATO, BACON & CHEESE SAUCE BREAKFAST WRAPS' have “Best if Used By” dates of 01/17/2020 and 01/18/2020 and lot codes 19017 and 19018. The products subject to recall also bear the establishment number 'EST. 17523A' on the back of the package.
If you have any of the recalled the breakfast wraps on hand, you should throw them away or return them according to the USDA.
