Lent officially starts on Wednesday, March 6. That means that a lot of people will be enjoying fish fries on Friday. Even if you don't observe Lent, fish fries are delicious! The Minnesotan in me could eat fried fish at every meal for the rest of my life and be happy. My favorite season is almost here--fried fish season. Mmmm!

Coyote Moon Grill, St. Cloud--Their seasonal Friday fish buffet starts March 8th and goes through April 19th. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. you can enjoy a variety of seafood and fish for $16.95 per person.

Kimball Lions Club, Kimball--Their annual fish fry will be held Friday, March 8 at the Kimball Legion Club from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You can enjoy fish, potato salad, beans, bread dessert and beverages. Adults are $10 and Kids 6-12 are $5 and kids 5 and under are free.

St. Katherine Drexel School, St. Cloud--Their fish fries are Friday, March 22nd and Friday, April 12th. You can dine in or order your food to go. Dine-in and take-out is open from 4 p.m to 7:30 p.m. The drive-thru close at 7 p.m. The meal includes; fish, coleslaw, potato salad, chips, beans, bread and beverages. Kids ages 3 and under eat for free.

St. Anthony Parish Center, St. Cloud--Grab some all you can eat hand-breaded fish, Au gratin potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, dinner rolls, milk and coffee. Takeout dinners are available. It costs $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under.Preschool age and younger are free.Fish fries will be held Friday, March 8, 15, 22, 29 and Friday, April 5 & 12.

St. John Baptist Parish, Collegeville--They're serving up fried fish, macaroni & cheese, baked potatoes, beans, coleslaw, dinner rolls dessert and beverages on March 8th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It costs $12 per person.
