The Cold Spring Brewing Company survived through many financial crises to continue brewing in the same spot since 1874.

The craft beer industry has certainly come back, with taproom culture throughout our region, bringing great brewing back to our areas of St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Annandale, Big Lake and many more.

THE AUTHOR

Author Jacob Laxen is a former award winning USA Today reporter who just happened to work for the St. Cloud Times newspaper during a few separate stints from 2007 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2016.
