Happy October! If you like the adrenaline rush from haunted attractions one in Royalton has opened up for the year. It's called the 'Wicked Woods' and from the early returns on social media, it seems to be a hit for fans of things that go 'bump' in the night.

Wicked Woods opened up over the weekend and will be open Oct 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, on Halloween, and then November 1-2. The 'Haunted' attraction runs from 8p to 11p, and it will run you $20 to get in.

A social media event page/invitation describes the haunted woods attraction as:

Come and walk our haunted trail with your friends and be entertained by our residents!! Dr. Woods has walk-in appointments available at the NEW Insane Asylum, and howling creatures are loose in our forest! Expect to see some old 'friends' as well.....

I just can't handle these types of attractions. It's not that I can't physically handle it, it's my reaction to people jumping out at me, I just swing. See what I mean with this video they made of something 'lurking' in the cornfield.

Nope!

Thankfully the folks at the Wicked Woods have a tamer option if I choose to participate as there are times for kids to go, that won't cause nightmares. You can find those event times for kids by heading here.
