Over 100 Jobs Lost In Latest Bluestem Brands Layoffs
There is news of more layoffs at Bluestem Brands, a company with St. Cloud ties. This round of announced layoffs will affect more than 100 employees, all of whom are located at the corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie.
Minnesota's DEED Sent Out The Notice This Week
In a notice from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), BLST Operating Company, LLC will be permanently laying off 103 workers effective November 16th, with the building then closing shortly after the layoffs.
According to the company website, "Bluestem Brands combines Fingerhut, a fintech company, and Orchard Brands, a direct-to-consumer retailer of fashion. Bluestem is headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, and has employees throughout the country."

The Cause Of The Layoffs
The reason 103 employees are being laid off is due to what Bluestem called "a reorganization which includes the elimination of positions located in their Eden Prairie facility as well as those which report into that facility. Due to this reorganization, employees will experience permanent layoff on November 16, 2025. The facility will remain operational through the WARN period and close thereafter."
4th Notice To The State Of Layoffs From Bluestem
This was the 4th time in the last two months that Bluestem has notified the state of impending layoffs, with the other 3 notices being given in August, with one notice stating that the St. Cloud location would also be seeing layoffs, expected to take place on October 26, 2025, and conclude on November 14, 2025.
