Bette Midler to Guest Star on ‘Glee’

'Glee' is hands down one of my favorite shows on TV today and the guest appearances just keep getting better and better. Last week it was announced that Bette Midler was going to join the cast for an upcoming episode, and I can't wait!

Honestly, who doesn't love Bette?! She is amazing, which is exactly why I'm ecstatic that she has agreed to appear on the hit show.

Both Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson joined the cast as regulars this season, proving how amazing the show really is. No word yet on who Bette will play but co-creator Ryan Murphy is up for suggestions.

Murphy was the one who got Bette on board by asking her to join the cast at an event in New York - and it just so happened that he did from the stage in front of a thousand people. Hmmm, I'm willing to bet that was strategic. Either way, it worked!

Murphy confirmed the 66 year old superstar agreed to do the show via Twitter, also asking his followers who Bette should portray on the show. Do you have any suggestions?
