“Bark To The Future” 5K Companion Walk This Saturday

BARK TO THE FUTURE 5K/1K WALK HAPPENS THIS SATURDAY

The Tri County Humane Society holds a 5K Companion walk every year; and this year is no exception. This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Tri County Humane Society, and they are inviting all pet lovers to attend; with or without their pets.

The event will take place this Saturday, September 8th. Registration for the walk will begin at 9am, with the walk beginning at 10am, and festivities at Wilson Park until 1 pm.

There will be lots of fun. Costume contests for pets and their owners; face painting and much more. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

NEW LOW IMPACT 1K

This year, the event will feature a low impact 1K walk that will keep walkers in Wilson Park. This is a great shorter walk for older dogs, smaller dogs, or owners that may have limitations.

HOW TO RAISE FUNDS

There are many different ways for you to raise money for this years fundraiser, including getting donations for the walk, without having to walk.  You can also CLICK HERE for information how to set up your Facebook fundraiser, and for every $50 raised you'll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a cat, dog or family goody basket.

Prizes are also gifted to the top 40 fundraisers. We hope you can help. Just $50 helps TCHS spay or neuter a pet. Your efforts can go far to helping TCHS reach their goal.
