Christmas is on the way, and it appears there has already been a Grinch sighting in Central Minnesota. According to a local chamber of commerce, someone or a group of individuals are making off with holiday cheer that isn't their own. Here's what we know is going on in nearby 'Whoville' Minnesota.

Ok so it's not a crime that is occurring in 'Whoville', rather it seems there is a Grinch roaming around the Central Minnesota town of Eden Valley.

Sad news!!

Depressing as it is, it appears someone is removing decorations and signage from some of the Christmas-decorated trees on Eden Valley's State Street. And while I know Chief Evan has bigger problems to solve, I've made him aware of this issue as well. Please be aware of what's happening on State Street and keep your eyes on the trees, especially when out during the night.

I can't imagine anyone has cameras/ring doorbells that might have caught anything, but thought I'd put that out there too, just in case. We have several residents who live on State Street, maybe you've seen something? Please help us watch!

It's making my heart hurt!

The Eden Valley Chamber of Commerce posted about the decoration removal on November 22nd.

In other Eden Valley news there is a new business in town, as Sassie's Tavern opened up on Friday as well, you can find Sassie's Tavern at 198 State Street. You can follow them on social media as well, here.
