THE HISTORY OF THE ANGEL OF HOPE
What Would Bri Do, Inc donated the angel to create a memorial for mourning parents and families that have lost their precious loved ones.
The Christmas Box "Angel of Hope" was first introduced in the book and hit television movie "The Christmas Box." The Original Angel of Hope statue, inspired by the book, was dedicated on December 6, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the placement of this first statue, it has become known as a place of hope and healing for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child.
There will be a small service indoors at the Sartell Community Center at 6:30 pm. The vigil will take place at the base of the Angel at approximately 7 pm.
Families will be given a white flower to place in memory of their loved one. There will also be Light refreshments following the vigil.
Everyone is welcome to come as we all are children of someone...so you can attend in memory of a child, a friend, a neighbor or anyone you've lost.
WWBD is putting together a slideshow of those that you are attending in memory of. If you are interested in submitting a photo of your loved one, please email your photo to email@example.com. Deadline to submit a photo will be 12/3/19. When submitting your photo, you are asked to please include their name.
