Angel of Hope Candle Light Vigil Planned for December 6th

ANGEL OF HOPE CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL

The Angel Of Hope Candlelight Vigil is being held December 6, 2019 this year, at the
Sartell Community Center, located at 850 19th Street South, Sartell, MN 56377.

The event will take place from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. There is no cost to attend this event and tickets are not necessary, but registration would be appreciated to prepare for the event. You can register for your tickets for the number of adults and children you will be bringing by clicking HERE.

LOCATION

Sartell's Angel of Hope is located near Lake Francis just south of Scout Drive off of Pinecone Road South and can be accessed by a paved trail from the new community center parking lot.

THE HISTORY OF THE ANGEL OF HOPE

What Would Bri Do, Inc donated the angel to create a memorial for mourning parents and families that have lost their precious loved ones.

The Christmas Box "Angel of Hope" was first introduced in the book and hit television movie "The Christmas Box." The Original Angel of Hope statue, inspired by the book, was dedicated on December 6, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the placement of this first statue, it has become known as a place of hope and healing for anyone who has suffered the loss of a child.

THE SERVICE

There will be a small service indoors at the Sartell Community Center at 6:30 pm. The vigil will take place at the base of the Angel at approximately 7 pm.

Families will be given a white flower to place in memory of their loved one. There will also be Light refreshments following the vigil.

Everyone is welcome to come as we all are children of someone...so you can attend in memory of a child, a friend, a neighbor or anyone you've lost.
