Farmers are the backbones of our communities. They are up before sunrise, and back in the house well after it has set. They are working the land, caring for animals, and working to put food on tables all across America, and the world. It is an around the clock job. Calves can be born at at time. Crops need to be harvested when they are ready. Equipment needs to be repaired and maintained. Chores need to be done, day in and day out. There are no days off.

Thank you farmers. Thank you for caring for the earth. Thank you for being kind to animals. Thank you for not being afraid of hard work. Thank you for providing sustenance to America. Thank you for setting an incredible example for future generations. Thank you for being a farmer.

Paul Harvey says it best in his 'So God Made a Farmer' speech.
