9 Burger Kings Close in Twin Cities Metro, St. Cloud
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) _ Nine Burger King fast food restaurants have abruptly closed in the Twin Cities metro and St. Cloud, leaving about 200 employees without jobs.
Reports say the closed restaurants are owned by P3 Foods, which filed for bankruptcy in the fall of 2016. Documents show the court ordered P3 to surrender its properties immediately. P3 says company executives are working on a transition to new ownership.
The nine restaurants include two in Minneapolis, two in St. Paul, two in Eden Prairie and one each in Plymouth, Brainerd and St. Cloud.
