I don't know about you, but I go stir crazy being stuck at home for a few days straight. I'm always finding new things to keep myself busy so I don't go crazy!

I was at a family wedding this past weekend and my cousins and I were discussing how they were going to keep their youngsters and themselves busy if they had to be quarantined. Here is the list that we came up with:

Kid Centered Activities 

  1. Make paper airplanes and have flight contest
  2. Learn how to do origami
  3. Make cereal box stories
  4. Create a massive poster out of paper and individual drawings
  5. Paint pet rocks
  6. Make paper bag puppets
  7. Build a blanket fort
  8. Have a Pillowfight
  9. Mattress Surf down the stairs
  10. Create an obstacle course through the house
  11. Indoor bowling
  12. Do a challenging puzzle
  13. Play I spy
  14. Create and play minute to win it games
  15. Go on a virtual field trip
  16. Lookup History event or come up with a science project
  17. Play board games
  18. Make a vision board
  19. Finish or work on a scrapbook
  20. Create a Thankful jar
  21. Paint a room or your whole house
  22. Journal
  23. Spring Clean your entire house
  24. Play Card Games
  25. Binge-watch Netflix or Disney Plus
  26. Do at-home workouts from YouTube or create your own
  27. Read a book
  28. Learn some new recipes
  29. Teach yourself a new hobby
  30. Have a spa day
  31. Call folks on the phone and actually talk to them
  32. Learn how to play an instrument
  33. Eat A LOT!!!
  34. Take a nap
  35. Plan the first thing you are going to do as soon as you can leave again 

These are just a few ideas of things you can do to keep yourself and your kids busy while you are stuck at home. Hopefully, you can make this a positive experience!
