The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without Zach LaVine for the remainder of the 2017 season, after suffering a left knee injury during last night's 116-108 loss in Detroit. An MRI today revealed that LaVine has a torn ACL -- which will require surgery.

The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Orlando Magic 111-105 in overtime Monday night at Target Center. The Wolves have now won eight of their past 11 games and are only three games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

It was announced this afternoon that Kevin Garnett is finished with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Although he's basically retiring, the Wolves technically waived KG which allows him to collect the $8-Million remaining on his contract for the upcoming season.
