The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without Zach LaVine for the remainder of the 2017 season, after suffering a left knee injury during last night's 116-108 loss in Detroit. An MRI today revealed that LaVine has a torn ACL -- which will require surgery.

This is LaVine's third season in the NBA, and he was averaging 18.9 points per game this year.

The Timberwolves host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the Target Center.
