When mentioning the names "Post Malone," "Travis Scott" and, perhaps most particularly, "Ozzy Osbourne," it probably doesn't stand to reason that "Carrie Underwood" will fit into that particular narrative. However, when the former three musicians got together to perform at the 2019 American Music Awards Sunday night (Nov. 24), all came together in symmetry.

The aforementioned three delivered an impassioned version of Malone's "Take What You Want" (which features Osbourne and Scott on the recording), complete with a gothy dark backdrop and  flames worthy of Osbourne's blackest Sabbath. The 70-year-old Osbourne himself gave a particularly fiery performance, and the audience was loving it—including Underwood, who was spotted rocking out in the audience shouting out the lyrics along with the Prince of Darkness (check her out at the 1:00 mark above). Who knew Carrie was such a rock chick?

It's good Underwood was able to let loose and blow off a little steam at the awards show, as she had a particularly emotional evening overall. While accepting her award for Favorite Country Album (Cry Pretty), she was unexpectedly presented with another award right on top of that, Favorite Female Artist — Country. The dual honor had her overcome and in tears, thanking her fans and two sons: "Mommy loves you!"
