SHAMROCK SHAKES

My kids HAVE to go to McDonalds every March simply because they can't go one year without their Shamrock shakes.

How about you make them yourself?  Try this recipe this weekend and let St. Patrick's Day be a healthy fun affair for you and your kids.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 avocado, pitted and scooped
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure mint extract
  • Optional:
    whipped cream (plant-based, dairy-free, or coconut cream)
    Raw cacao nibs or Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend the bananas, mint and spinach to the blender. Add  coconut milk.
Add the vanilla and mint extract and blend until smooth. Top it with whatever works for you and enjoy!!!!
