Five years and 4.3 million views later, World Naked Gardening Day haunts me.

World Naked Gardening Day falls on the first Saturday of May every year. According to the WNGD website:

All that's involved is getting naked and making the  world's gardens--whatever their size, public or private--healthier and more attractive. WNGD has no political agenda, nor is it owned or organized by any one particular group. Naked individuals and groups are  encouraged to adopt the day for themselves.

It's a pretty simple concept, strip down to your birthday suit and do some gardening.

Rewind to May of 2016, a couple of my coworkers caught wind of the holiday and came rushing to me saying, "Abbey you have to make a video". And because I never say no, or turn down an opportunity to make a fool of myself, I wrote a script and filmed a video in a matter of 10 minutes.

That silly video of gardening puns caught like wildfire, and even caused my mom to be stopped in the grocery store with people saying to her, "did you see your daughter's video?" She had. She raised me. This kind of stuff no longer phases her.

Is it one of my proudest moments? No, but that's mainly because I know if I put more than just a last-minute effort into it it could've been so much better. You live and you learn.

Happy World Naked Gardening Day! And for the record, I had a swimsuit top on in this video.
