Winners Have A Blast At Sartell Prom [VIDEO]
Back in April we hosted the 98 Country Prom Relief Contest where one lucky winner was given everything they needed to go to prom first class. Each contestant was responsible for getting as many votes as they could to win the grand prize.
The race was tight throughout the entire contest with couples from Sauk Rapids, Foley, Rocori, Tech and Sartell High Schools in the running for the final prize. Eric O'Leary from Sartell was the final winner. His mom, Pam, said that she campaigned like she was running for public office asking everyone she knew to log onto the website and cast their vote.
Since we announced the winner in April, Eric and his girlfriend Tyler were busy getting themselves ready for the prom. They picked out a tux from Tip Top Tux, Tyler got a dress from Barb's Bridal and had her hair done by Headlines Salon and Spa, they both were able to get tanned at Ocean Breeze Tanning and pick out flowers from St. Cloud Floral and they were picked up at the prom in the limo from Adventure Limousine.
This year's prom was themed around Alice In Wonderland. The Grand March was set up as a checkerboard walkway with a walkover archway and two positions to pose for pictures. The hosts of the evening were The Mad Hatter and of course Alice. All of the couples look incredible, but we are biased towards our winners who looked the best out of all of the attendees.
Once grand march was complete, Eric and Tyler - joined by 8 of their friends - climbed into the limo and were off to the St. Cloud Civic Center to enjoy dinner and dancing. The prom committee did another incredible job on decorations at The Civic Center. The center pieces were The Mad Hatter's hat, there were lights strung everywhere and even a castle carved out of ice.

Congratulations once again Eric and Tyler - we hope your night was incredible! Thanks again to everyone that participated in the 98 Country Prom Relief Contest and we look forward to doing it again next year!
