I saw this earlier today and the results made me laugh but they also surprised me a bit.  I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

It's common knowledge that I love my dog, Kaycee, dearly.  If you ask my family, they might tell you I'm a bit obsessed with her but I wouldn't go that far.  I mean treating her like she's human is totally normal, right?

Anyway, according to a new survey conducted by PoochPerks, more people would be upset about losing their dog than breaking up with their significant other.  I will grant that this study might sway a bit that way because I'm guessing people who visit PoochPerks are dog lovers, but the results can't be too far off.  They used a pain scale where a breakup ranked at 8.8 and a dog running away came in with a 9.1.

I can say with 100% certainty I would be more upset if Kaycee ran away and never returned than I would be with breaking up with my boyfriend.  I almost feel bad saying that but Kaycee is my pal and we've been through a lot together.  I've got her back and she's got mine as best she can.

Sorry, but I think my dog is going to win every time!  I mean seriously, look at that face!
