We’ve All Been Treating the Common Cold Wrong
I feel like everything I have ever learned about treating the common cold is a lie.
According to WebMD, there is very little proof that Vitamin C actually helps treat and prevent common colds.
Findings have been inconsistent. Overall, experts have found little to no benefit from vitamin C for preventing or treating the common cold.
Vitamin C was tested as a treatment for colds in 7 different ways and it was found to have the same effect of a placebo.
When I feel a cold coming on the first thing I do is reach for a bottle of orange juice and Vitamin C chewable gummies. Turns out it has all been a waste of time and resources.
