Updated Mask Guidance for Minnesotans [INFOGRAPHIC]
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revised its mask guidance to adjust to the large number of fully vaccinated people in Minnesota and around the country.
The guidance revision basically says that fully vaccinated people can now safely do the following without wearing a mask:
- Go running, biking, hiking, walking outdoors alone or with others from their home.
- Attend small outdoor get togethers with other fully vaccinated people.
- Go to a small outdoor gathering with a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
- Eat and drink on an outdoor restaurant patio with people from multiple households.

The bottom line according to the Centers for Disease Control is that if you're fully vaccinated, its now safe to hang out in small groups outdoors without wearing a mask. It's a small step in the right direction, but we'll take it.
The CDC has released this handy little infographic to illustrate how safe they feel specific activities are for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
The message that health officials are trying to drive is that becoming fully vaccinated allows us to return to more normal activities in a safe manner sooner.
This all comes as Minnesota health officials say that vaccine availability is in a good place right now, and that any Minnesotan looking to receive a COVID-19 vaccination should find scheduling one relatively easy.
You can schedule a vaccination using the Sate of Minnesota's vaccine finder HERE.
I received the Johnson & Johnson, single-dose show back on April first, so following the two-week wait -- I'm now considered fully vaccinated. I'll see you at the Ultimate Sports Bar's grand re-opening this Saturday. 😎
