I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a beer tower at the Ultimate.

Last April, we were all shocked by the news that the Ultimate Sports Bar in Waite Park had caught fire, and the building was a total loss. Since then crews have been hard at work on the location, rebuilding it to be bigger and better.

The bar owner, Tom Frericks made the most of a bad situation and took the opportunity to do a significant redesign of the building, which includes an expanded bar area, larger kitchen, a larger patio, and so much more.

In a blog posted to their website this week, the Ultimate Sports Bar shared this update:

When we open this spring—tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 1—you can expect some exciting changes. Besides doubling the size of our deck, we’ll be adding a sliding wall that brings a portion of the bar inside to the outside. We’re also adding an axe throwing lane, so practice up that aim!

The first beer has already been served on the patio:

I know I'm really excited to see (and have a drink or two at) this new and improved Ultimate Sports Bar. My friend group has really been missing it. May can't get here soon enough!
