The Minnesota Twins (76-84) swept the White Sox in Friday's doubleheader at Target Field, winning the first game 2-1 before thumping Chicago 12-4 in the second game.

Jose Berrios dominated game one, pitching seven innings, giving up just one run on three hits, four walks, and nine strikeouts for his 12th win of the season. Trevor may got the save for the Twins.

If the first game was about pitching, game two was all about the Twins offense. Minnesota scored 3 in the first inning, 4 in the second, and three more in the third -- holding a 10-1 lead after the first three innings. Mitch Garver ended the day with 4 hits and six RBI.

Next: The Twins host the Chicago White Sox tonight (9/29) at 6:10 PM CT at Target Field. (TV: Fox Sports North, Radio: 1240 WJON.)
