Twins Start Season with Two Wins for First Time Since 2007
The Minnesota Twins clobbered the visiting Kansas City Royals 9-1 this afternoon at Target Field; starting the season 2-0 for the first time since 2007. The Twins opened the season Monday with a 7-1 win over the Royals.
Last season it took the Twins eleven games to get to two wins. By the way, Minnesota is still tied for first place. (You just never know when you're going to be able to say that again.)
The Twins and Royals will wrap up the three-game series at 12:10 tomorrow afternoon at Target Field.
Go Twins!
