After taking a 4-1 lead, the Minnesota Twins (48-55) surrendered nine straight runs, falling to the Red Sox 10-4 Saturday night in Boston.

The Red Sox took the early 1-0 lead in the first inning, before the Twins added one of their own in the second and three more in the third to take a 4-1 lead -- but it was all Red Sox after that. Boston erupted for three runs in the fourth, one in the fifth & sixth, and four more in the eighth inning to add another win to their league-leading total of 73.

Minnesota starter Jake Odorizzi (4-7) surrendered five runs on nine hits in five innings, while striking out five. Gabriel Moya, Matt Magill, and Taylor Rogers all made appearances in relief of Odorizzi.

Miguel Sano returned to the lineup for the Twins after spending six weeks in the minors -- going 0 for 4 on the night,
