Twins Can’t Solve King Felix, Fall to Mariners 6-2
MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Twins couldn't solve Felix Hernandez and fell to the Seattle Mariners 6-2 on Sunday.
Felix Hernandez had a terrific start for Seattle, going eight innings and limiting the Twins to just two runs off of seven hits. Trevor Plouffe got the Twins on the board with a two-run single in the 3rd.
Twins starter Ricky Nolasco was knocked out after five innings, allowing three runs off of six hits.
The Twins will now hit the road for a two-game series against the San Diego Padres. Both teams are set to play on Tuesday night at 9:10 p.m. CT.
