Timberwolves Trade Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia

The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded forward Jimmy Butler to the Philadelphia 76'ers following months of discontent for the 29-year old. Butler had requested to be traded earlier in the year.

Reports indicate the the terms of the deal also include Minnesota sending Justin Patton to Philly, in exchange for Robert Covington, Dario Saric, Jerryd Bayless, and a 2022 second-round draft pick.
