The Minnesota Timberwolves (4-4), led by 50 points from Derrick Rose, beat the Utah Jazz 128-125 Wednesday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Derrick Rose got the start Wednesday night in place of the injured Jeff Teague. His 50 points were the most he's scored in an NBA game since being named the league MVP with the Chicago Bulls in the 2010-2011 season.

Rose led Minnesota in scoring with 50 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists. Karl Anthony-Towns added 28, and Andrew Wiggins scored 19. Jimmy Butler did not play.

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 26 points.
