The Minnesota Timberwolves (3-4) rebounded from an ugly loss Friday night by beating the Los Angeles Lakers 124-120 Monday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

It was a back-and-forth battle that had the Lakers leading 66-64 at the half, but Jimmy Butler's 32 points helped lead the Wolves to the win.

Butler led Minnesota in scoring, adding 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Karl Anthony-Towns added 25, and Josh Okogie scored 17.

Lebron James led the Lakers with 29 points.
