The Minnesota Timberwolves have slipped into the post-season after a regular season ending 112-106 win over the visiting Denver Nuggets. The victory gives the T-Wolves their first playoff berth in 13 seasons; the longest post-season absence in the league.

With the win, Minnesota secures the eighth and final spot in the playoffs.

The Timberwolves will face the top Western Conference seed Houston Rockets in the first round of the 2018 NBA post season.

Minnesota's leading scorer tonight was Jimmy Butler with 31 points. Karl-Anthony Towns added 26 points and 14 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins scored 18, and Jeff Teague added 17 points,
