Timberwolves Fall to Bulls Friday in Chicago
The Minnesota Timberwolves (34-24) lost to the Chicago Bulls (19-35) 114-113 last night at the United Center in Chicago. The Wolves are now just 12-18 on the road this season.
Both Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson received pre-game standing ovations from the fans of the team that had drafted them, but former Timberwolf Zac LaVine scored a season-high 35 for the Bulls spoiling the return for Butler and Gibson.
Jimmy Butler ended the night against his old team with 38 points to lead the Wolves in scoring. Andrew Wiggins 18 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns added 14 more.
