The Minnesota Timberwolves battled their way to a 104-101 loss to the NBA's top seeded Houston Rockets Sunday night in Houston in their first playoff game in thirteen years.

The Wolves kept within striking distance all night, but in the end came up just short. Minnesota's leading scorer tonight was Andrew Wiggins with 18 points. Derrick Rose added 16 points. Jeff Teague & 3amal Crawford scored 15, and Jimmy Butler scored 13 points.

The Timberwolves will face the Rockets in game-two of the first round of the 2018 NBA postseason Wednesday night at 8:30 PM CT in Houston. (TV: Fox Sports North, Radio: 1240 WJON)
