Tim McGraw hit the stage at the 2019 CMA Music Festival in Nashville in June to perform "Real Good Man," and he invited Luke Combs to join him.

McGraw and Combs hit the stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville for the joint performance of the song, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart when McGraw released it as the fourth single from his 2002 album, Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors.

McGraw and Combs gave an energetic performance of the classic hit that had the crowd who had assembled for the annual event in Music City roaring.

Rivers Rutherford and George Teren co-wrote "Real Good Man," and the lyrics feature the narrator boasting that although he has his wild side, he's actually a stand-up guy.

"I may be a real bad boy / But baby I'm a real good man," McGraw and Combs sing in the chorus.

The special pairing was one of the highlights of CMA Fest: The Music Event of Summer, which aired on Sunday night (Aug. 4)  on ABC.
