I don't like going to the dentist.  I don't like having my mouth poked and prodded and inevitably I have to go back to get something fixed.

My love (addiction?) to Mountain Dew gets in the way of my teeth being truly healthy.  It's not surprising that I end up with cavities, which are my second worst nightmare.  I hate drills and the sound/feel of metal against my teeth.  YUCK!!

The need for drills and fillings might be fading away as new treatments are being developed.  According to the Huffington Post there is a new dental procedure being worked on in the U.K.  It's called Electrically Accelerated and Enhanced Remineralisation. Basically what it sounds like is an electric current would be used and somehow it would allow the tooth to repair itself.
