There are Some New Things at the State Fair Other Than Food

Every year we get the list of what new foods are available at the Minnesota State Fair.  But this year, we get more than that.  Yes, we did get the list of the new foods that are available, and some of those foods look pretty amazing.  You an check out that story here.

Other than food, there are so many new things to check out while you are wandering around the fairgrounds.  Some of the new things include a new fair design.

New for the 2024 Minnesota State Fair is the launch of an exclusive design paying homage to vibrant, iconic elements that make the fairgrounds a one-of-kind gathering place.

Am I the only one who thinks this new design kind of resembles the man eating plant "Seymour" on Little Shop of Horrors?

Anway, on to other new things at the fair that you can enjoy...

There is also a new State Fair app has been introduced.  If you have the previous app, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the new app.

Ever wanted to know what your pet is thinking?  Check out this new thing at the fair.  It's a cats and dogs exhibition.

Go inside the minds of our favorite furry friends at Cats & Dogs The Exhibition, a sensory and interactive journey devoted to understanding and decoding the behavior of our beloved, entertaining (and sometimes confounding) fluffy family members.

If you love riding the rides at the State Fair, there are 2 more to choose from.  One is The Kraken and the other is The Defender.  Both sound like you need to be a "thrill-seeker".  That might be a no from me.

There are new competitions that people have entered - see the results and maybe taste a few of the canning items, celebrate some of what has always been part of the fair like the 90 years of the streetcar arch, and now there are Crafted Creations with 7 new vendors.
