Get to know some local musicians this weekend at Pioneer Place. Minneapolis-based pianist, composer and George Maurer and Fabulous Armadillos lead singer Billy Scherer will answer your questions as they share their songs and stories with you Sunday. This is the second show of Maurer’s “Stripped Down” series. Tickets for the show are $19 in advance and $22 at the door. Show time starts at 7:30 p.m.
Craft beer lovers it's time for a toast this weekend in St. Cloud. Central Minnesota's finest brewhouses will be at St. Katharine Drexel school Saturday for the 1st Annual Central Minnesota On Tap Craft Beer Festival. Enjoy samplings of over 30 craft beers and ciders, along with hot food, and live music. You can also vote for the best beer and best brewery. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The festival runs from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Gobblins, monsters, and witches are just a few of the frightening things you'll come across at the Harvest of Horror in St. Augusta. The spooky trail takes you through at hayride through the Field of Screems, the Timbers of Terror and the Maze of Madness where you will be met by some scary creatures of the night along the way. Harvest of Horror is open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. rain or shine. The last ride leaves at 10:45 p.m. Tickets are $13 per person. The horrors run every Friday and Saturday night throughout October.
Grab your family and enjoy some fall festive fun this weekend in St. Cloud. Abounding Joy Lutheran Church is holding their Harvest of Joy Fall Festival Saturday. The day includes crafts, door prizes, baked goods, children activities, a silent auction, music and lunch. It's free to attend however all proceeds will go towards their Youth Education Scholarship Fund. The fun starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 2:00 p.m.
Here's a kid friendly event which will bring smiles to everyone's face. Collegeville Orchards has something for everyone from a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, petting zoo, wagon rides and more. The fun happens every weekend in October from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are just $3 per person.
