Tom Petty died at the age of 66 on Oct. 2, leaving country artists in shock following an already tragic day.

At the 2011 Grammy nominations concert last week The Band Perry sang a new song, "Independence", then segued into one of my all time favorite artists with an awesome rendition of Tom Petty's "Free Falling". I just thought it was to good to miss. So, here it is.
