...Excuse me?

Allegedly, Red Lobster might be making some changes to their biscuit policy in 2020. This new biscuit "rule" implies that restaurant guests are limited to two Cheddar Bay Biscuits per entree.

Another restaurant that serves unlimited bread is Olive Garden, with whom Red Lobster shared a parent company until RL was sold in 2014.

BrandEating.com is reporting that the way this now works involves purchasing additional biscuits by the dozen or half dozen. In St. Cloud, a dozen biscuits will cost $5.29, and a half-dozen is $2.79.

This biscuit limit will be exclusively for to-go orders. When ordering biscuits online, the Red Lobster website says:

All entrées come with two warm, house-made Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Not enough? Order extra here.

Dining-in will still be unlimited. So worry not, the seafood chain will not be capping your biscuit input, as long as you are in the building. They won't be limiting it outside the building either as long as you are willing to pay for them.
