LITTLE FALLS -- A severe thunderstorm rolled through Morrison County on Wednesday night.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for northern and central Morrison County from about 8:20 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

At 8:21 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was spotted over Sylvan (seven miles west of Brainerd) with ping pong ball sized hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph.

Shortly before 9:15 p.m., the storm came by Fort Ripley (12 miles north of Little Falls) with 60 mph wind gusts and golf ball size hail.

A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect for several counties in Minnesota -- including, Benton, Meeker, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties -- until midnight Wednesday.
