Sartell’s Lake Francis Light Display Has an Opening Date

Sartell will be decking the halls with thousands of twinkling lights at Lake Francis on Friday, Dec. 7. The 3rd annual light display will feature special weekend festivities throughout the whole month.

On select Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. you can enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, bonfires and more festive fun as you walk around the lake located just off of Pinecone Road.

Last year extra events included; horse-drawn trolley rides and s'mores making. They also added a warming shelter.

Lights will be on from dusk until dawn every night of the week through Dec. 28. The light display is located within walking distance to the Sartell Community Center where you can escape the cold and warm up.

Public parking is offered behind the Sartell Community Center, but they ask that you do not park at Chateau Waters.  The light display is free to look at.
