Sartell Wading Pool & New Splash Pad Now Open

Summer is almost officially here! Sartell announced that their wading pool at Celebration Park and the new splash pad at Watab Park are now open.

In fact, I was at Celebration Park pool yesterday with my 3-year-old and the water was pretty warm. You're really going to need the pool and splash pad this week because the high on Saturday is in the mid-90's. It's going to be HOT, friends.

The pool is open from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and there's a lifeguard on duty. It's a great option if you've got smaller children as its only a 1 foot deep pool.

Celebration Park in Sartell is located at 1017 19th Avenue North. In addition to the free wading pool, it's got a bathroom area and picnic shelter, half-basketball court and a playground. It makes for a great free afternoon of fun. Pack a lunch, swim a little and make a day out of it.

The new splash pad at Watab Park is pretty huge. It's 2,204 square feet and cost the city about $173,400. They've also added a new pool house and playground. There's picnic tables, a softball field, grills, volleyball courts and trails. You can also rent out the park shelter for parties and gatherings.

Watab Park is located at 7 Riverside Avenue North in Sartell.

Seriously, this weekend is going to have the perfect weather for hanging out at the pool and running through the splash pad. Does it get any better in Minnesota?!
