The St. Cloud Rox beat the Mankato MoonDogs 5-2 in 12 innings Tuesday night to advance to the Summer Collegiate World Series. The Rox will play in a best-of-three series against Battle Creek.

Ricardo Sanchez came through in the clutch with a game-tying single in the top of the ninth inning for the Rox, and Drew Avans' two-run double in the top of the twelfth inning gave St. Cloud a lead they would not relinquish.

St. Cloud will host Battle Creek tonight to begin a best-of-three series. The second and third games will be played in Michigan. First pitch tonight at Joe Faber Field is scheduled for 7:05. Get tickets HERE.
