Join Rox ‘Sporting Clays’ Competition To Benefit Kimball High School

If you enjoy a little friendly competition, spending time outdoors, and supporting a good cause, the St. Cloud Rox have an upcoming event in Little Falls that checks all three boxes.

The 2026 Sporting Clays Shootout is taking place on Thursday, September 17th, at The Rice Creek Hunting Club.

This event has sold out three years in a row, and four-person teams are now being accepted for this year's shoot.

Even better, 100% of the event's proceeds will help support the Rox Community Foundation and the Kimball High School Trap Team. So while participants enjoy an afternoon of sporting clays, their participation also supports local youth and community programs.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The tournament features a 17-station course with 70 sporting clay targets.

The day begins with registration, contests and lunch before shooters take part in a mandatory safety meeting. The tournament gets underway with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

SOCIAL HOUR AND SILENT AUCTION TO FOLLOW

After the tournament, participants can enjoy a social hour with a cash bar, silent auction, bean bag toss and other games. Dinner follows at 4:15 p.m., with a live auction and awards presentation wrapping up the afternoon.

FOUR PERSON TEAMS

A four-person team package is $780 and includes the 17-station event, three boxes of shells and range fees for each player, lunch, dinner, a player gift and tickets for a chance to win a big prize.

OTHER CONTESTS TO PARTICIPATE IN

There are also additional contests available, including a Duck Flurry Contest and Cowboy Fast Draw Contest.

Rice Creek Hunting Club has a limited number of shotguns available to rent.

Since this event has sold out for the past three years, organizers are encouraging teams to register soon.
