Rocori & Pierz in Prep Bowl this Friday & Saturday

The Minnesota State High School football championship matchups are set for Prep Bowl 2019 this Friday and Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Good luck to a pair of area teams; the Rocori Spartans and Pierz Pioneers. Rocori advanced to the state title game with a 48-24 win over Winona. Pierz beat Jackson County Central 20-14 to move on to the Prep Bowl.

Here's the schedule for 2019 state championship games:

• 9 Man:  Hancock vs. Mountain Lake Area, SAT 11/30 at 10 AM.
• Class A:  BOLD vs. Blooming Prairie, FRI 11/29 at 10 AM.
• Class AA: Minneapolis North vs.Caledonia, FRI 11/29 at 1 PM.
• Class 3A:  Dassel-Cokato vs. Pierz, SAT 11/30 at 1 PM.
• Class 4A:  SPA/Minnehaha Academy/Blake vs. Rocori, FRI 11/29 at 4 PM.
• Class 5A:  Chaska vs. St. Thomas Academy, SAT 11/30 at 4 PM.
• Class 6A:  Champlin Park vs. Wayzata, FRI 11/29 at 7 PM.
