Really? 2 Massive Minnesota Tourist Attractions Dubbed ‘Most Boring’
What makes something boring? Maybe it's a slow-moving activity, OR maybe you've been going there for so long the luster has worn off. To find something boring is pretty subjective, what you might find SO boring I might be fascinated by. So when surveys come out declaring the most during destinations and tourist attractions you've got to take the rankings with a grain of salt. Two Minnesota tourist attractions made a Top-100 list, one is an ICON, the other a relative newcomer to the North Star State.
The website Solitared.com "analyzed 66.7 million Google reviews of 3,290 popular tourist attractions worldwide, spanning 384 cities across 71 countries, focusing on 11 keywords indicative of tiresome, lifeless, and downright boring impressions."
According to those stats, the most boring tourist attraction/destination in the WORLD is in...Branson Missouri. OK, but I thought Branson was pretty cool with the old time riverboats, floating casinos, and nightly entertainment. Well the most boring attraction is in Branson, not Branson itself.
The most boring attraction in the world is the Branson Scenic Railway.
So what were the two attractions in Minnesota to make the list, and where did they fall on the ranking of boring places?
Well, the Crayola Experience at Mall of America was on the list, that showed up at number 40, it had a boring rating of 2.1.
The most boring Minnesota attraction? Great Wolf Lodge Water Park it came in at #25 on the list with a score of 2.3.
Great Wolf is a great spot to go here in Minnesota, it keeps the kids busy in the winter months, and it's just a couple of hours away!
Have you been to any of the other 'most boring' places on the list? What did you think of them? Were they really 'boring' or are we reaching with this?
