They don't make 'em like they used to. I'm talking about the Quesaritos that Taco Bell used to sell.

I'll use gooder punctuation this time: they don't make 'em, like they used to. They were glorious and Taco Bell discontinued them, for some reason. That led me to Thursday's (1/11/24) Question of the Century:

What's a Discontinued Fast Food Item That NEEDS to be Brought Back?

McDonald's

Erica broke the McDonald's seal: "Salad shakers at McDonalds"

Joey, Brettzki, Jeremy, Jason, Cassandra, Scott, and Karlie all agreed: McDonald's needs to bring back the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Bagels.

Scott mentioned what I imagine to be the predecessor to the McRib: the Chopped Steak Sandwich from McDonald's. "Never got to have it, but the people who remember it, said that it was delicious."

Troy and Ricardo were more modern: "McRib"

Amy mentioned something I've never heard of, but did appear in the Chopped Steak Sandwich advertisement that Scott included with his response: "Onion Nuggets".

Jim says: "Snack wraps at McDonald’s!!"

Matt says: "McDonald’s chicken fajita wrap!"

Nessie and Dave say: "The MCDLT!!!"

Taco Bell

Jason went straight to my cholesterol-riddled heart: "Steak quesaritos at Taco Bell."

Samuel was next: "Beefy Frito burrito"

David wasn't far behind: "7 layer burrito at Taco Bell"

Joey brought back a sweet memory: "Carmel Apple empanadas at Taco Bell"

Taco John's

Angie: "Apple grande at Taco John's"

Arby's

Brian, Stephen, and Christine agreed: "potato cakes"

Hardee's

Chris believes that arteries are bad and should be punished: "Primal Thickburger"

Wayne says: "Hardee's pre black angus mushroom and Swiss"

Mary Beth: "Hardee’s Big Twin burger. Worked there in the 70’s. Yum"

Rene: "The OLD Hardee's fish filet. (The one on the long bun like the McRib or the Burger King classic chicken sammich.)"
