“Oppressive” Humidity On the Way For Minnesota This Weekend

Hot and humid weather is on the way for Minnesota this weekend. The National Weather Service says that starting Friday highs will be in the 90s and heat index could reach over 100 on Saturday.

Meteorologist Matt Brickman from CBS says that the "humidity will crank up starting Thursday, with dew points hitting an “oppressive” 70+ degrees over the weekend".

Hopefully you have plans to be at the lake! Keep in mind that outdoor strenuous activities should be monitored and limited to avoid heat stroke, and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
