Celebrate Foley's Newest Winery With Food, Music, And Grape Stomping

One of the newest wineries in Central Minnesota has been open for a few weeks. Many locals were taken by surprise to see the winery open, as they felt that they had missed the grand opening. Well, that hasn't officially happened yet for Northern Hollow Winery, but they have set a date and added a fun activity too. Here's what we know about the upcoming grand opening event for Northern Hollow Winery in Foley.

A Foot-'Stompin' Good Time

Northern Hollow, which has recently opened to the public after moving to the area from Grasston, has announced the date for its grand opening event. The grand opening has been scheduled for the first weekend in October, according to a social media event I received.

The Grand Opening is set for Saturday, October 4th, and Sunday, October 5th. The event will start on Saturday, the 4th, at 11am. On top of the usual excitement of a grand opening for all involved, there will be a unique event for those curious enough to try.

According to the social media event page:

"We’ve been working hard to bring our dream to life, and now it’s time to celebrate with YOU—our friends, neighbors, and community. Our Grand Opening & Grape Stomp is the perfect way to mark this milestone."

Some of the events/happenings that will be taking place that weekend are:

Grape stomping for both children and adults
Wine tastings
Live music all weekend long featuring: Smok'n Guns, Doug Scott, 200' Away, and Trent Bergeron
Local food trucks
Local artists/vendors

More Than Wine @ Northern Hallow

Northern Hollow also has food options for you when you visit; and they will be serving their own food for the grand opening, plus there will also be food trucks. The winery offers up in terms of food: wood-fired pizzas, grilled paninis, and/or salads.
