PREDICTIVE STOP ARM SYSTEM COULD SAVE LIVES

This new school bus system is being tested in Hopkins, Minnesota right now on four school buses, according to the news report above. If testing goes well, it could be saving our childrens lives on a daily basis.

The bus driver interviewed in the video says people illegally pass his bus every single day multiple times. The system that is being tested would send an alert to the children when it is NOT safe to cross the road.

So far, the test driver of the bus says he likes the system. It helps him focus more on the kids instead of having to focus on the license plate number of cars passing illegally.
