I'm not sure how I feel about this.

There's an app for just about everything these days and some creative genius came up with one to determine how long you'll sit in a traffic jam.  I've never really understood the concept of a traffic jam, I just know they occur way too often.

According to TIME, this app is called Waze and it includes a real-time traffic mapping feature that gives you an idea of how long you will have to wait.  It functions by using real-time GPS data from its users.  You may be able to find a way around the congestion but if you can't, you'll at least have an idea of how long it will take you to get through it.

If this is accurate, I think it might be one of the best apps out there.  However, if I'm stuck in traffic, I'm already pretty cheesed off.  If this app tells me I will be in the clear in 10 minutes and it takes 20, I'm not going to be a happy camper.
